Air Astana Enhances Baggage Allowance on Delhi & Mumbai–Bishkek Routes

Air Astana has announced an upgrade in baggage allowance for passengers travelling between Delhi and Mumbai to Bishkek, aiming to offer greater convenience and value for international travellers.

Increased Baggage Benefits for Passengers

Under the revised policy, passengers can now enjoy improved checked baggage allowances depending on their fare category. In economy class, travellers are typically allowed 1 to 2 pieces of baggage of up to 23 kg each, aligning with the airline’s fare-based baggage structure.

The airline continues to follow a piece-based baggage system, where allowances vary by ticket type—ranging from no baggage in basic fares to two pieces in higher-tier economy options.

Boost to India–Central Asia Connectivity

This move is part of Air Astana’s broader strategy to strengthen connectivity between India and Central Asia. By enhancing baggage limits, the airline aims to attract both leisure and business travellers, particularly those requiring additional luggage capacity for longer international trips.

Enhanced Travel Experience

The updated baggage allowance is expected to:

  • Improve overall passenger convenience
  • Provide better value across fare categories
  • Encourage more traffic on India–Bishkek routes

Conclusion

Air Astana’s enhanced baggage policy reflects its commitment to customer-centric services and growing demand on India–Central Asia routes. With flexible fare options and increased baggage benefits, travellers can now plan their journeys with greater ease and comfort.
