Air India Flights Update: New Direct Flights Between Mumbai And Doha Starting Oct 30

Air India, India’s flag carrier airline currently owned by Tata Sons, has announced that it will begin operating new flights between India and Qatar on October 30, 2022.

According to the airline’s announcement, it has added new flights on the Doha-Mumbai-Doha route, with three weekly services on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

As per the details available on Air India’s website, a nonstop Air India flight from Mumbai will depart at 10:20 p.m. and will reach Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) at 11:15.

Similarly, the return flights from Doha to Mumbai are scheduled to depart at 12:45 p.m. and arrive at 6:45 p.m. local time.

Return tickets on the Mumbai-Doha-Mumbai route start at ₹30,999 or 1413 QR if you book the Flexi Saver Economy fare, which includes 20KG check-in baggage, complimentary meals, limited free seat selection, and other benefits.

It’s worth noting that bookings on the newly introduced route have already begun, and those who wish to travel between Mumbai and Doha can do so through the Official Website, Booking Offices, Call Center, Mobile App, and Authorized Travel Agents.

Bookings are currently available until March 19, 2023, according to the airline’s website.

According to some media reports, Air India intends to add six weekly flights between India and Qatar, with stops in Delhi, Mumbai, and Doha, depending on available slots. It also plans to add four weekly flights to Dubai from Kolkata, Mumbai, and Delhi.

According to an Air India official, the airline is looking to take advantage of the high passenger traffic to Dubai and Qatar due to the FIFA World Cup in November.
