The Indian airline Vistara made the announcement on Wednesday that it will resume daily direct flights between Mumbai and Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital and largest city, on March 1, 2023.
The airline had to cancel these direct flights due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, so it decided to reopen this route after nearly three years.
This demonstrates the airline’s commitment to expanding its reach and offering more destinations to its customers, and it will provide passengers looking to travel between the two cities with additional options.
