Commencing on November 8, 2023, the airline will establish connections from Kuala Lumpur to Amritsar, followed by Thiruvananthapuram on November 9, and Ahmedabad on December 1.

In a recent official statement, the airline unveiled its intentions to launch three fresh routes linking Kuala Lumpur (KUL) with major Indian cities, enriching its direct connectivity and providing travelers with an unprecedented array of choices.
Malaysia Airlines Flights to India
Effective from November 8, 9, and December 1, 2023, Malaysia Airlines will commence operations on three new routes connecting Kuala Lumpur to India:
- Amritsar (ATQ) on November 8, 2023.
- Thiruvananthapuram (TRV) on November 9, 2023.
- Ahmedabad (AMD) on December 1, 2023.
This strategic expansion will bring Malaysia Airlines’ total point-to-point connectivity from Kuala Lumpur to India to an impressive nine key hubs, enhancing travel options and flexibility for passengers traveling between the two countries. The airline already operates direct flights to New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kochi.
